THE OPPORTUNITY : Reporting to the Group Manager, Commercial this role will support the delivery of Company Strategic objectives through the identification, assessment and execution of commercial and business development opportunities.
The Commercial Manager is responsible for : Assisting with the development of the Company's sales and marketing strategy.Leading the execution of the strategy which includes market and competitor analysis, product portfolio management and business development opportunities.Evaluating industry trends and providing advice to ensure competitive positioning.Engaging in industry stakeholders relationships to identify value-add opportunities.This is a permanent full-time role based at our beautiful West Perth office, near the City West train station.
ABOUT YOU : Formal tertiary qualifications in either an engineering, science or business discipline.
A post graduate professional qualification is highly regarded.At least 7 years' experience within the mining and resources industry and preferably experience with a combination of both lithium chemicals and spodumene concentrate sales experience.An in-depth knowledge of the lithium industry and global market trends is highly desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional negotiation skills.Ability to effectively manage interpersonal relationships across multiple functions in a diverse work environment.Exhibits deep curiosity, demonstrating strategic thinking to drive long-term, profitable growth.Proficient in conversing in Mandarin is highly regarded.Demonstrated experience in establishing internal and external new business platforms, management consulting, market development, supply chain, competitive intelligence is highly desirable.WHAT WE OFFER : Excellent remuneration package.Annual short-term incentive as a cash bonus or a cash / share combination option.Novated leasing through salary sacrifice.Health & Wellbeing Allowance.Access to the Company's KidsCo holiday program.Paid Parental Leave.Paid Community Leave.Flexible working hours and option to work from home.WHAT WE STAND FOR : Great people.Think, do, achieve.Safety matters.Quality products.Valuing our partners.Making a difference in the world.PROMOTING DIVERSITY : Pilbara Minerals recognises that talented people come from diverse backgrounds, who can contribute to our successes in different ways.
