Our mission is to ensure innovative and progressive developments for our valued clients and to continuously prove ourselves as thoughtful and personal construction and civil contractors.We are looking for a Part Time Payroll Specialist to join the Finance team in Pyrmont 3 days per week. Reporting to the CFO you will manage the end-to-end payroll, provide administration and HR support to employees and occasionally assist with accounts payable.As the Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for:Processing weekly and monthly payroll cycles accurately and on time.Calculating wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses based on timesheets and other relevant records.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records.Generating and distributing payroll reports to relevant departments.Assisting in the onboarding process by collecting and processing new hire payroll information.Coordinating with HR and other departments to ensure seamless integration into the payroll system.Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.Preparing and submitting payroll-related tax reports and filings.As the ideal applicant you will be:Degree in business, accounting, or a relevant field.Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll manager within the construction industry.Collaborative and independent work capability.Well-organised with strong attention to detail and good time management.Proficiency in payroll systems such as Coins and Xero will be considered advantageous.How to apply:To apply for this role, please submit your application via our careers website.
