About the Role:The Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) is a Territory-wide provider of therapeutic services to children, young people, families, and carers involved in Youth Justice and Child Protection.As a Senior Clinician, you will deliver trauma-informed therapeutic support through clinical assessments, individual and family counselling, and group work. You will develop and implement holistic therapeutic plans, provide expert consultation to carers and professionals, and collaborate with care teams to ensure culturally safe, client-centered services.Key Responsibilities Include:Leading the development and review of therapeutic programs.Providing direct therapeutic intervention and crisis response planning.Offering specialist consultation, training, and support to carers and professionals.Advocating for the rights and safety of children while contributing to research and training initiatives.Ensuring all documentation meets organisational and practice standards.About You:To excel in this role, you will have:A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related field, with eligibility for relevant professional membership.Significant experience in working with traumatised children and delivering therapeutic interventions.Expertise in trauma, attachment, and neurobiology frameworks.The ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with carers, statutory bodies, and community partners.A commitment to culturally safe practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.Essential Requirements:Current NT driver's licence and Working with Children Check.Leadership experience in managing complex clinical practice.What We Offer:Competitive salary with salary packaging.Six weeks of annual leave.Access to ACF's extensive resources and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Wellbeing programs to support your physical and mental health.To ApplyInterested in making a difference?
