Our projects range from small to large technical services packages with high levels of system integration and can be on construction sites or within operating Data Centers.The Project Manager will manage multiple projects via the Schneider Electric Customer Project Process and will be responsible for ensuring schedules and budgets are achieved whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Compliance with the Customer Project Process is a requirement and projects will be audited for compliance.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:A history of being able to deliver small to medium high-profile projects with successful outcomes for both the client and companyMust have an excellent financial acumen with strong abilities in reporting and forecastingAbility to communicate with senior management and sub-contractorsStrong reporting and presenting skills will be required when presenting to the client and internal stakeholders (Steering Committee Meetings)Ability to build a team quickly and work with that team to drive the project to completion.A background in delivering design and construct technical services packages in a construction environmentResponsibilitiesWork as part of the SPAC Projects team, attend team meetings, 1 to 1 sessions with manager and project finance updatesDeliver projects to achieve desired outcomesManage projects to ensure margin and profitability are maintained or improvedEnsure compliance to the Schneider Electric Customer Project ProcessManage Risk and opportunity across all projectsMaintain a high level of Customer SatisfactionIdeal CandidateTrade based qualification in electrical or refrigeration trade and / or University Degree and/or Post Graduate qualification or relevant experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent OR must achieve certification within 12 monthsAt least 2 Years of Project Management experience required preferably in the Data Centre industry.Background in managing projects in a relevant industry such as IT, technology, engineering or construction (highly desirable)Proven ability to engage stakeholders (up to and including senior management levels) and build positive business partnershipsDemonstrated experience in preparing and facilitating meetings, workshops, training, and problem resolution activitiesDemonstrated experience in successfully driving and delivering (on time, on budget, with high stakeholder satisfaction) a simultaneous portfolio of up to 10 projectsWhat We Offer:Inclusive Culture: We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and encourage applications from all, including women and the LGBTQI+ communityFamily-friendly Policies and Flexibility: Hybrid work environment, Paid Leave, Carer's Leave, Grandparent Leave, Community Service, Family and Domestic Violence Leave, Miscarriage Leave, Child's first day of schoolCareer Growth Opportunities: With access to over 50,000 learning solutions, you'll have the support to shape your unique work-life journey.Inclusive Leadership and Mentorship: Networking programs tailored to support you in growing your careerWe aspire to be the most Inclusive and Caring company in the world, by providing equitable opportunities to everyone, everywhere and ensuring all employees feel uniquely valued and safe to contribute their best.We'd love to hear from youAll applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for interview.Let us learn about you Apply today.You must submit an online application to be considered for any position with us.
