The role involves leading consultations and needs assessments to develop and deliver tailored support for organisations, recruiting eligible organisations into the project, and guiding them in building the capability to meet the needs of LGBTIQ+ service users, volunteers, and staff.The position also requires collaboration with accreditation providers to ensure smooth project delivery, including reporting, quality management, and fund distribution for subsidised accreditation. The project manager will offer specialist advice on content and strategy, maintain an in-depth knowledge of research related to LGBTIQ health and inclusive practices, and supervise project staff. Additionally, they will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including participating organisations, peak bodies, and funders, while engaging in research and knowledge translation to enhance RHA's advocacy efforts.
