Acting Customer Service Coordinator

Public Sector People (PSP) are seeking to speak to an experienced Customer Service Team Leader who would be interested in a 2-month temporary contract based at a council in the inner-western suburbs of Melbourne.
The Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating the Customer Service and Civic Facilities Team.
Immediate start Inner-western Melbourne location 2-month temporary contract, with the potential for extension Band 8 Local Government leadership opportunity Key Responsibilities: Continuously monitor and evaluate customer support services to drive ongoing improvements.
Develop and regularly review customer service and civic facilities policies and procedures.
Monitor customer requests and ensure the responses meet the agreed standard.
Address and resolve complex operational issues and customer complaints Coordinate the Civic Facilities function for the Town Hall.
Budget monitoring.
Key Criteria: Proficient in developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures.
Understanding of local government operations.
Extensive customer service leadership experience, including supervising large teams.
Proven expertise in strategic thinking, initiative-taking, and implementing effective solutions.
Skilled in budget monitoring and producing comprehensive project reports.
Experience managing civic facilities would be highly regarded.
