Your future role within QRT You will join the Production Management team based in Sydney, providing high-touch user support to the QRT team which trades across all the major APAC markets.
This role will be expected to provide prompt user support for investigation & resolution of any system issues impacting front office trading flows, liaising with internal and external teams for effective management of the QRT trading infrastructure on a day-to-day basis, as well as basic office infrastructure issues.
What you will do: Support of trading infrastructure (Manual trading application, Algorithmic trading platforms, Exchange/FIX connectivity system, and Risk systems)Support trading platforms on different OS environments – Windows & LinuxEnsuring all trading components are up and running before the start of each trading dayCoordinate with various front-to-back teams for issue resolutionSupport the release management process ensuring stability of the production environmentMaintenance and support of static databases and supporting processesDevelop tools to continuously improve our ability to monitor the trading environmentEvening/weekend support requirements (normally, through remote access)Requirements 2-10 years of experience in a similar role2+ yrs of Bash, Command Dos, PowerShell, or Python scripting experience is essentialExcellent problem solving and highly effective business analytics capabilities requiredMust have a keen focus on ownership of issues and commitment to resolving themExcellent written and oral communication skills are essentialExpert windows desktop and server administration experience is essentialHigh level of Linux OS experience is essentialExpert relational database skills (in order of preference: SQL Server, Postgres) are essentialGood-to-have: Experience managing expectations of Front Office traders and senior managementKnowledge of Equities, Futures, Commodities and FX asset classesKnowledge of market data feed handlers and execution feedsKnowledge of market-making/liquidity provision and algorithmic trading#J-18808-Ljbffr
