Market Leading Marketmaking firmInnovative, technology-first environmentExceptional rewards, Company Culture and employee TenureWhat You'll Do: As a Production Engineer, you'll work collaboratively with various software teams and play a vital role in creating and maintaining high-quality software systems.
We're strong proponents of functional programming.
Your responsibilities will include: Manage the production environment for optimal performance and reliability.Monitor and resolve issues in large-scale trading systems and exchanges.Develop and maintain DevOps tools for configuration, deployment, and monitoring.Use metrics to enhance system scalability and performance.Work with tech teams to troubleshoot complex system challenges.Coordinate with Risk Management and Trading Support on changes and incidents.Communicate with traders to implement tech updates and solve problems.Collaborate with Clearing team to ensure trade and position accuracy.Evaluate and mitigate operational risks in production changes.Document and standardize processes and procedures.Provide mentorship and training for other SREs.Take on additional tasks as required.Why Join Us: Make a firm-wide impact by solving real-time issuesEnjoy a supportive and collaborative work environmentShape the tools you use and witness their improvementsGain breadth of knowledge by working with various departmentsHelp enable successful trades and resolve complex production issuesWhat Sets Us Apart: As a Production Engineer, you'll experience a unique role that sets us apart from generic Software Engineering positions:

You should be:
3+ years of experience with Python and Shell Scripting5+ years experience within an IT ops roleDegree in Computer Science or similarFamiliar with networking concepts - Routing, Multicast, LLDP, VLAN taggingIntellectually curious, motivated, and eager to learnAn excellent communicator who remains calm under pressureIf you're ready to embark on an exciting journey where you can apply your software development skills to real-world challenges, we want to hear from you
