What You'll Do:
As a Production Engineer, you'll work collaboratively with various software teams and play a vital role in creating and maintaining high-quality software systems.
We're strong proponents of functional programming.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage the production environment for optimal performance and reliability.
Monitor and resolve issues in large-scale trading systems and exchanges.
Develop and maintain DevOps tools for configuration, deployment, and monitoring.
Use metrics to enhance system scalability and performance.
Work with tech teams to troubleshoot complex system challenges.
Coordinate with Risk Management and Trading Support on changes and incidents.
Communicate with traders to implement tech updates and solve problems.
Collaborate with Clearing team to ensure trade and position accuracy.
Evaluate and mitigate operational risks in production changes.
Document and standardize processes and procedures.
Provide mentorship and training for other SREs.
Take on additional tasks as required.

You don't need a specific background in functional programming, finance, or any other field to excel in this role.
We value your problem-solving skills, your ability to adapt and learn, and your passion for technology.
You should be:
3+ years of experience with Python and Shell Scripting 5+ years experience within an IT ops role Degree in Computer Science or similar Familiar with networking concepts - Routing, Multicast, LLDP, VLAN tagging Intellectually curious, motivated, and eager to learn An excellent communicator who remains calm under pressure If you're ready to embark on an exciting journey where you can apply your software development skills to real-world challenges, we want to hear from you
