The primary function is to provide and deploy services as an Area Manager to Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd. (the client) within the Consumer Electronics Division.
The Area Manager plays a critical role within CE Retail, owning store stakeholder and staff relationships in their area to achieve and grow SEAU sales and profit targets.
You will be a true business partner and the conduit between the stores and Samsung Electronics Australia (SEAU).
This role will be critical in maintaining relationships with stores via business meetings.
You will have a strong understanding of business and will constantly review sales data to identify and maximize opportunities and execute plans and strategies as per the business direction.
The Area Manager will be the designated representative for Livechat when stores within their territory are seeking further support.
You will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Representatives to help you execute the merchandising strategy, including in-store merchandising, training, issue resolution, customer inventory control, product returns, and driving range compliance.
You will provide mentoring and coaching to your team, ensure quality consistency across your area and be accountable for their designated territory's performance.
Job DescriptionThe primary function is to provide and deploy services as an Area Manager to Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd. (the client) within the Consumer Electronics Division.Responsible for the delivery of the CE sell-out and sell-in target achievement with assigned area.Build and nurture relationships with store stakeholders that establish Samsung as a preferred partner.Zone management with planning internal meetings, assisting Sales Representatives in journey planning, GTM planning.Approvals for spare parts, team expenses, timesheets, and store health field checks.Account business review meetings with store management, highlighting sales opportunity, resolving DI issues, booking in training sessions, and claim management.Full ownership of Live chat and associated responsibilities for assigned stores.Liaising with warehouse team, rebooking missed deliveries and following up on price discrepancies.Lead Sales Representatives within assigned area, and provide mentoring, coaching, and utilize them to assist with achieving SEAU deliverables.Responsible for compliance of in-store execution of the merchandising strategy.Lead and manage team members and provide timely feedback and coaching, enhancing their overall performance and professional development.Act as the escalation point for your team and assigned stores, and follow items through until satisfactory resolutions are obtained for both parties within a timely manner.Manage and influence inventory to limit stock-outs and optimize weeks of stock.Deliver high levels of customer service to stores through management and communication of inventory levels, credit claims, spare parts service, logistics, and returned goods procedures for Samsung products.Promote product familiarity by training, demonstration, presentations, and instruction.Maintain activity records, audit checks, and report on all phases of sales and competitor activity in accordance with management requirements and company procedures.Meet all required training KPIs, and complete requirements that may occur within and or after hours.Assist in any event support, VIP visits, or training nights when required.Ensure all priorities set by the business are completed on time.Maintain all administrative and reporting requirements for the business.Adherence to company policy and procedure at all times.Perform all other activities as required.Desired Skills and Experience3+ years' experience within a retail or re-seller environment essential.Tertiary education including college Diploma (bachelor's degree preferred) in business, marketing or communications highly desirable.Consumer Electronics industry experience highly regarded.A self-starter with exceptional people/leadership skills and an influencing style, you may have gained experience working in diverse multi-cultural backgrounds.Proven and successful experience at developing relationships.Experience with using multiple forms of information to tailor to hit sales targets.Track record in constructive confrontation and conflict management.Business reviews with key stakeholders.Proven success in client relations and Field Account Management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
