Due to the continuous success and growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Brighton Support Office team as an Employment Relations Advisor. The role is Part Time (0.8) - 4 days per week. Who Are We? Retail Prodigy Group are the master retail franchise partner for NIKE Stores across Australia and New Zealand and the Retail Operations Partner for Samsung Stores across Australia and Direct to Consumer Online Retail Partner for Mattel in Australia and New Zealand.

The role: Reporting to our HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading employment relations processes, compliance, and projects to ensure appropriate outcomes, resolution, and industry best practice.
Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting HR strategies that drive high performance business resultsOverseeing all ER cases end to end, ensuring high quality documentation and record keepingPartnering with HR Business Partners to coach and advise leaders on performance management processes, ensuring best practice tools, resources, and support are available to leaders across the organisation.Conducting workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and outcomes ensuring Australia and New Zealand guidelines are met and employee experience is upheldProviding expert advice and coaching on performance management, investigations, grievances, and industrial relations mattersSupporting HR team with policy development, change management, and training initiatives.Representing the business on external mediation processes with Fair Work and Employment Relations Authority NZ.Supporting HR projects aimed at improving processes to enhance employee experience and drive organisational effectiveness.Supporting HR & Payroll Compliance processes to ensure policies, procedures, contracts, and payroll are in accordance with industry awards and standardsOverseeing grievance & ER reporting, identifying trends and providing insights to key stakeholdersAssisting all facets of the business in undertaking and implementing HR processes including performance appraisals, disciplinary processes, training & development activities, policies, and processes.Facilitating and guiding leaders through the corrective action process and termination processes, ensuring guidance in line with State, Federal legislation, and Fair Work/Modern Award.Contributing to HR and Employee experience projects and initiatives proactively.The successful Employment Relations Advisor will have the following: 3+ years HR Generalist experience of AUS/NZ practices.Experience with the retail industry is preferredProven and demonstrated experience working in an employment relations focused HR role.Previous experience working within a growth organisation would be advantageous.Strong understanding and experience working with Modern Awards, policy development, and complianceExperience in New Zealand employment practices would be advantageousA strong understanding of Human Resource activities across the employee life cycle including legal compliance and associated HR legislative requirements.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.What's in it for you?
