Now we just need you.A real endeavour, driven by youOur work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.Supply / Maritime Logistics Qualification or Relevant.Experience working within Defence or similar large matrixed organisation working on large engineering or technology projects from concept to delivery.Contract and commercial management skills and knowledge.Business administration knowledge including finance; leadership and management of several other direct reports.Ability to influence and effectively deal with senior executive stakeholders, manage their expectations, and provide pragmatic strategic advice.Past use of software tools for governance enablement and task tracking.Knowledge of Commonwealth and Defence procurement policies.Awareness of export control and data governance as they relate to Defence procurement.Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.Organisational and planning skills including advanced time management and ability to prioritise simultaneous delivery of tasks under pressure.More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a drive to manage critical projects and programs that build sovereign capability and deliver complex things that matter.Why Downer Professional Services?At Downer Professional Services, you'll find the opportunity to build something remarkable.
