This business is led by a passionate and ambitious group of professionals - now is an excellent time to join the team.The OpportunityThe Data Specialist is a newly created role that will bring structure and process to the data function and assist in the creation of a data strategy that will allow the business to grow and scale.
This person will bring rigor and control in the way this business collects data and ensures that it is both accurate and secure.
This role will see you interact directly with business stakeholders, with your primary contacts being Data Analysts, DevOps teams, and reporting/finance analysts.Some of the key tasks include: Consult with your stakeholders to thoroughly understand data requirements and mapping specificationsDesign, develop, and maintain data integration solutionsMonitor and troubleshoot data integration issues, and provide root cause analysis and resolutionKeep up-to-date documentation of data integration processes and proceduresAssist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and standardsParticipate in data quality improvement initiatives as well as supporting and training usersYour BackgroundWill be a passionate Data professional who has studied a data-related qualification or has held a similar position.Have experience with data integration toolsUnderstands cloud technologies and how they relate to data governance.Strong SQL skills and experience with multiple database environments.Experience developing ETL processesAbility to understand complex data structuresExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExposure to diverse tech stacks and technologies such as Google Cloud, Azure DevOps, AWS Redshift etc., will be beneficial.As this is a permanent position, we are unable to consider applicants who are not Australian Permanent residents or Australian Citizens.What's in it for you?Circa $110k + SuperOnsite ParkingEmployee Health Annual Leave BenefitsFood & Beverage BenefitsClose to Public TransportImpressive & Modern working environment - South West Sydney locationInvestment in career growth & Development opportunitiesFriendly & inclusive culture - A true team environmentAll Rights Reserved | West Recruitment Pty Ltd
