At UGL, the Fuels & Energy East business is seeking interest from skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers to join the Projects team. The role can be based in either Brisbane or Melbourne.
About the roleThe Senior Engineer will support the Lead Engineer to provide engineering and administrative coordination for the tender, design, supply, installation, and commissioning support to the project scopes, end to end. You will be working across various Oil and Gas facilities and Fuel Storage Facilities under the portfolio.
About youTo be considered for the role, the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
10+ years' industry experience in engineering, maintenance and/or project implementation and commissioning for major resources sites within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Chemical industriesProven experience in electrical systems design, implementation, construction, and commissioning of LV, MV equipment and systemsKnowledge and exposure to DCS, PLC, SCADA and tank inventory systemsExperience with interfacing to instrument and control systems using a variety of communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus and ProfibusDetailed knowledge of Australian & International codes and standards - Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area (Classification and Design) certification – AS/NZS 60079Experience in procurement of E&I Items such as datasheets, specifications, Bid review, technical bid evaluation, Vendor Data review etc.Ability to establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with other members of the specialist and regional teamsActively participate in regular learning and development programs to continually enhance and further develop skillsWhat we offerVariety in project works across site in multiple locations throughout AustraliaOneRewards – discounts and cash back throughout major suppliersFlexible working arrangementsWhat makes you right for UGLAbility to provide a safe, supportive and positive workplaceEmpower a united and collaborative cultureDeliver technical excellence and create efficient, innovative solutionsBuild an enviable reputation and the trust of employees, clients and other stakeholdersGenuine concern for safetyAbout UsUGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within; rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
