I am recruiting on behalf of a leading transport company seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with strong bookkeeping skills to play a critical role in managing the company's financial processes in a fast-paced industry.
About the Role
As a Bookkeeper, you will handle key financial functions and ensure smooth operations across:
- Accounts receivable: Managing invoices, payments, and following up on overdue accounts when necessary.- Accounts payable: Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.- Payroll support: Assisting with payroll preparation and ensuring compliance.- Problem-solving and addressing any financial discrepancies promptly.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proactive and resilient professional with:- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience within Australia.- A Diploma of Bookkeeping or Accounting (essential).- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow up with debtors diplomatically but effectively.- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure.- Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar systems).- A resilient and adaptable attitude to handle challenges confidently.
