Payroll (Accounting) Full time Kenshaw Electrical, an ARA Group company, requires an experienced Payroll/Accounts Payable Officer to join our team.
Kenshaw has been established for over 25 years and prides itself on a strong team culture whilst providing excellent service for its customers.
We provide reliable specialist services in the areas of electric motors and generators.
Today we have grown into a company of 60+ employees and having a focus on the growth and development of our products and services will ensure the strength of the company moving into the future.
The Role We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and support to join our Kenshaw team.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for all aspects of payroll and accounts payable administration and processing.
They will have a high attention to detail, accuracy, and the desire to help their customers resolve queries.
Responsibilities Process the weekly paysExperience in payroll tax, superannuation, and work cover reconciliationsResolving payroll discrepanciesProcessing of employee superannuation, MERT, and long service leaveExtensive understanding of EA's and awardsWorking with payroll systems, times and attendance, and maintenance of payroll databasePerform end of month and year-end payroll reconciliationAssist in financial dutiesAccounts payable function including correspondence with suppliers, processing creditor invoices, preparation of EFT payments, and reconciliation of creditor statementsCredit card management and reconciliationsPrepare daily banking reconciliationsThe Suitable Candidate will have: At least 5 years' experience in a similar payroll positionProficient use of Microsoft Office and an electronic payroll systemExperience with using Jim2, HR3, or similar ERP financial systemStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenA friendly, professional, and team-oriented approachIf you are friendly, organised, and like a job with variety, this position is for you.
