About the roleNoongar Mia Mia is seeking an experienced Aboriginal Housing First Support Team Leader to join our team in Perth, WA.
This is a full-time role that plays a critical part in supporting our mission to provide secure and affordable housing for vulnerable Aboriginal individuals and families.
What you'll be doing Provide strategic leadership and operational management for the Aboriginal Housing First Support teamOversee the delivery of high-quality, culturally-appropriate housing and support services to clientsEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and proceduresCollaborate with partner organisations and stakeholders to coordinate support for clientsMonitor team performance and implement continuous improvement initiativesMentor and develop team members to build their skills and capabilitiesContribute to the overall success of the organisation through active participation in organisational initiativesWhat we're looking for Significant experience in a similar leadership role within the community services or housing sectorDemonstrated expertise in managing and supporting a team to deliver housing and support servicesIn-depth knowledge of the housing and homelessness landscape, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by Aboriginal communitiesExcellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective partnershipsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholdersWhat we offerAt Noongar Mia Mia, we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace that values the contributions of our team.
