About the role
Noongar Mia Mia is seeking an experienced Aboriginal Housing First Support Team Leader to join our team in Perth, WA .
This is a full-time role that plays a critical part in supporting our mission to provide secure and affordable housing for vulnerable Aboriginal individuals and families.
What you'll be doing
Provide strategic leadership and operational management for the Aboriginal Housing First Support team Oversee the delivery of high-quality, culturally-appropriate housing and support services to clients Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures Collaborate with partner organisations and stakeholders to coordinate support for clients Monitor team performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives Mentor and develop team members to build their skills and capabilities Contribute to the overall success of the organisation through active participation in organisational initiatives What we're looking for
Significant experience in a similar leadership role within the community services or housing sector Demonstrated expertise in managing and supporting a team to deliver housing and support services In-depth knowledge of the housing and homelessness landscape, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by Aboriginal communities Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders What we offer
