Space Planning Manager

The Space Planning Manager, reporting to the Head of Operations, is responsible for efficiently managing space usage within NIDA and negotiating space requirements with various internal and external stakeholders.
The role also supports the development of a NIDA Campus Masterplan and assists with managing the impact of a construction project scheduled for 2025 near the NIDA campus.
This includes preparing relocation plans and overseeing project management for relocation needs.About YouDemonstrated space management skills and experience.Demonstrated project management experience.Experience with fit-out of offices and, if possible, theatre and performance spaces.Experience with negotiation of commercial leases.Understanding of building development processes including approvals, certifications, and requirements for various types of development applications.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven experience delivering projects on time and budget.Well-developed written and oral communication skills and computer skills including MS Office Suite.Ability to work independently and in a small team environment.About the roleThis is a full-time, 1-year contract.
The base annual salary range is $100,000 gross per annum + 11.5% Superannuation, based on a 5-day working week.Please include the following in your applicationA cover letter that demonstrates your understanding of and capacity to undertake the role, including your ability to meet the selection criteria.Your C.V. including two referees who can comment on your professional experience.Please noteYou are required to have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role.
