It plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight, and assurance across early childhood and school education systems.About the DivisionThe Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) regulates school education in Victoria.
The Schools Division ensures compliance with minimum standards for registration, including the Child Safe Standards, to help Victorian students receive quality education in safe environments.About the RoleThe Project Officer supports regulatory projects and programs within the Schools Division.
Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Projects, Risks and Resources, the role involves planning and administration of regulatory projects, collecting and analyzing data, reporting on outcomes, and providing support to ensure smooth project management.Key Responsibilities:Plan and undertake administration of regulatory projects and programs.Collect and analyze data associated with projects.Report on project outcomes.Provide general support to the Schools Division teams.AttributesDriven, enthusiastic, and high standards for work performance.Collaborative team player with a "can do" attitude.Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.Excellent spoken and written communication skills.Strong problem solver with workable solutions.Desirable Qualifications and ExperienceQualification in Business studies or experience in office administration.Candidates must address the key selection criteria outlined in the position description.Further InformationFor more details regarding this position, please see the attached position description for the capabilities to address in your application.
