Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker - Mental Health and Specialised Services - Eating Disorders Service
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member of the Eating Disorder Service (EDS), delivering discipline-specific clinical services and leadership across mental health work units, to stakeholders / customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health.
The position requires a range of clinical assessment and treatment skills that can be used across the SCHHS mental health settings.
Active participation with consumers, carers, and families should be demonstrated in all areas of practice which may occur in the treatment clinic(s) offering CBTe / SSCM or EDS Community group programs.
The service is recovery-oriented, person-centred, strengths-based, collaborative, and empowering; and operates on the premise that consumers can and do recover from mental illness.

Key Responsibilities include : Deliver quality, evidence-based clinical services and some leadership as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers with complex eating disorders, their carers, and relevant stakeholders with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a recovery and rehabilitation framework.Partake in clinical governance activities, such as the development of clinical practices and guidelines that support the continuum of care.Participate in clinical practice and professional supervision within their discipline to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the service, providing Performance and Development Plans (PDP) as delegated.Actively partake in professional development and clinical practice training activities to students and staff within Mental Health and across multidisciplinary teams.Why work for us?
