We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Social Worker, Counsellor or Psychologist to join our professional student wellbeing and support team at Trinity Christian School.
Location: Tuggeranong, ACT
Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time
Employment Status: ongoing
Start Date: Friday 24 January 2025
Closing Date: Monday 2 December 2024

About the Role As an integral part of the school's Christian wellbeing and support program, you will work with students, families, and school staff to enhance safety, recovery, relationships, and resilience for our students' social, emotional, and educational wellbeing.
Responsibilities: Provide counselling to students, including those with high-level mental health concerns.Deliver high-level advice and proactivity in supporting learning and teaching to improve student learning outcomes.Provide guidance, advice, and support to the Director of Student Wellbeing to manage and deliver wellbeing strategies.Provide guidance, advice, and support to Executive staff in the management of complex issues.Build the capability of teachers to work with students with a range of needs and behaviours.Balance the delivery of assessments and interventions, and be part of managing complex cases.Qualifications: You will have a diploma, graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, or a related field and be eligible for registration with the relevant professional organisation.
Experience in an educational setting would be highly regarded.
