The role will see you working PM shifts on a rotating roster from Monday - Sunday to support our hospital leadership team.

As the Hospital Coordinator your responsibilities will include: Supervise safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards Support and liaise with the respective Nurse Unit Manager(s) of wards and Departments Assist with coordination of staffing Manage patient flow, coordinate and plan operational processes Coordinate patient admissions and provide discharge planning support Support the hospital's commitment to quality improvement and achievement of National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards Maintain the safety of staff, patients and visitors Essential Criteria: Eligible for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Minimum 5 years working as a Registered Nurse Ability to manage competing demands and co-ordinate resources appropriately Advanced interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Demonstrate effective analytical and problem-solving skills Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration with at least 5 years' experience Desirable Criteria Recent experience in bed management and/or patient flow Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff High degree of computer literacy including MS Office Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members Why Healthscope?
