About the roleBambino Italian Ristorante' is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and culinary team in Bundall, Queensland.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
This is a full-time position located at our restaurant in Bundall.
What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing innovative seasonal menus that showcase your creative flair and expertise in Italian fusion cuisine
Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes
Managing and training a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Monitoring kitchen operations, maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
Working closely with the management team to control food costs and maximise profitability
Representing the restaurant and brand in the local community and at industry events

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
Proven expertise in Italian cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary cooking techniques
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your kitchen staff
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and the management team
Relevant qualifications in Culinary Arts or a related field
