We pride ourselves on delivering a sophisticated à la carte menu inspired by local and seasonal ingredients, with a commitment to culinary excellence and unforgettable dining experiences.
Role Overview:We are seeking an innovative and passionate Head Chef to lead our team.
This is a rare opportunity to craft memorable menus that showcase the finest local produce, while enhancing the guest experience in a truly magical rainforest setting.
The Head Chef will oversee the kitchen operations, ensure high standards in food quality and presentation, and inspire the team to excel.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a creative à la carte menu that reflects seasonal and local ingredients.
Lead, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dishes and maintain a positive work environment.
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, purchasing, and budget management.
Ensure high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation are consistently met.
Collaborate with management on menu development, pricing strategies, and special events.
Maintain a commitment to sustainability, sourcing locally where possible and minimising waste.
Adapt to changing needs, including catering to dietary requirements and designing occasional themed menus for events.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a à la carte restaurant.
A deep passion for fresh, seasonal, and local produce with the ability to create imaginative and refined dishes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a dynamic kitchen team.
Expertise in kitchen operations, budget management, and inventory control.
Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Flexibility and creativity to adapt to new trends and guest preferences.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
