Their dedicated team delivers a diverse portfolio of programs and services to make a real difference to the City of Logan.The Corporate Governance Manager will monitor, maintain, and enhance the governance framework to ensure all stakeholders have confidence in the Council's operations, which are conducted in a professional, ethical, and transparent manner.Key Responsibilities:Integrity, privacy, and managementComplaint managementPublic Interest DisclosureLocal government meetingsCorporate governanceRisk and complianceLogan City Council is seeking a governance leader with extensive contemporary experience in the aforementioned functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to operationalise necessary changes in response to social, economic, environmental, cultural, and political challenges affecting governance deliverables. You will also possess strong skills in planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating Corporate Governance services and programs, as well as leading and driving the implementation of governance processes.Leadership will be assessed through proven experience in developing and sustaining a strong corporate culture among staff, built on accountability and performance, which delivers superior workforce culture, engagement, and organisational performance outcomes.The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively engage all key stakeholders in enhancing corporate meetings and registers, governance, risk and compliance, integrity, and information and insurance outcomes. A deep understanding of governance frameworks within a public sector setting is essential, along with demonstrated experience advising elected officials.Applications close: Monday 28 October at 11.59pm.
