Contribute to a leading financial services organisationAs our Corporate Governance Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality secretariat and governance support to our subsidiary boards and legal entities. Working within the Company Secretariat team, you will be involved in corporate governance, compliance, statutory administration, and the management of intellectual property. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in corporate governance who is ready to make an impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do Provide end-to-end support for Suncorp's subsidiary boards, including preparing agendas, meeting documentation, and minutesOversee statutory records, maintain corporate registers, and ensure compliance with all regulatory filing requirementsAssist with ASX Listing Rule compliance, disclosures, and other governance requirementsWork closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and auditors, contributing to governance best practices across SuncorpWhat You'll Bring Tertiary qualifications in Law, Accounting, or Business Administration are desirable, with additional professional qualifications in governance preferredMinimum of 2 years' experience in a company secretariat or governance role within financial services or a regulated industryStrong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work autonomouslyUnderstanding of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, APRA regulations, and corporate governance best practicesWhat we can offer A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leaveDiscounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance productsGive back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leaveInvest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programsPrioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee councilAt Suncorp we believe we are our best when our workforce is as diverse, talented and passionate as the communities in which we live and operate, and where our people feel included, valued and connected.
