Practice Manager

Since 2001 our privately owned wealth management business has provided quality, holistic service and advice to professional, executive and high net worth clients. Over this time we have achieved significant growth and we are now seeking an experienced industry professional to join our team as a Practice Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partners and Office Manager to help drive the next phase of growth for our business and ensure that we continue to deliver market leading service and advice.Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, strategic thinker who is seeking an exciting challenge in a leading, boutique wealth management business. In addition, you will need to be a highly effective communicator who is a proven team player.Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years financial services experience and also have significant experience in the following areas:Practice/General ManagementStakeholder EngagementCompliance/AFSL ManagementSome of the key duties and responsibilities of this role are:OperationsManagement of overall VPW operations with a focus on maintaining high levels of advice quality, service delivery and productivityEnsure adherence to SLA's and benchmarksManagement, review and refinement of operational processesAnalysis of business data & management reports and provision of insights and recommendationsPeople & CultureDevelopment of key HR policies & proceduresOnboarding of new staff membersInput into employment reviews and performance managementAssistance with mentoring, training and development of staffContribution to high performance cultureCompliance & LegalAFSL compliance including maintenance of compliance registersManagement of ASIC communications & analysis of legislative changesInternal audits & documentation reviewsEnsure adherence to key compliance obligations such as Ongoing Fee Consent, File Notes & Advice DocumentsI.T./SoftwareOptimise business software/CRMs such as XplanAdoption of appropriate technology and software solutionsReview and refinement of Cyber & Data security systems and processesContribute to the strategic direction of the business by proactively engaging with Partners and providing recommendations and business cases for initiatives.Management of important business projectsEnsure business strategy is effectively communicated across business and staff engaged with corporate directionIf the role sounds like the exciting opportunity you have been seeking, then please email your resume and cover letter to ****** RECRUITERS PLEASEYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a practice manager?Have you completed a qualification in financial planning?How many years' experience do you have in wealth management?
