Sandvik Ground Support Division is one of Australia's largest, leading manufacturers, suppliers and exporters of specialist strata reinforcement and support products to the underground coal and metalliferous mining sectors.
Sandvik Ground Support Division also provides galvanising and other related services to the mining, civil, marine, commercial, and industrial industries.About the RoleBased at our Kewdale site and reporting to the Sales Manager – Galvanising, the Sales Representative will be responsible for driving the growth of sales of galvanized products and services.
This role requires the development and maintenance of strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the advantages of galvanized products in meeting customer needs for corrosion protection, durability, and sustainability.
The Sales Representative will work closely with both existing and prospective clients, ensuring that they are informed about the benefits of galvanized steel solutions.
This position plays a key role in achieving sales targets and expanding market share by delivering exceptional customer service, technical knowledge, and effective solutions for our clients' needs.Identify new business opportunities within target markets, including construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors, for galvanized products.Track and report on sales performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, sales volume, and revenue.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication, exceptional service, and tailored solutions.Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products.Offer customized solutions based on specific customer requirements and project specifications.Work closely with internal teams, including production, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.About YouWe are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team
To be considered for this role, ideally you possess a qualification in Business or Sales, or have at least 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing, mining, or construction industry.
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of galvanizing techniques, their benefits, and their applications across various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing.The role requires the ability to track sales performance, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive improvement.
Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to lead and influence others, are highly desirable.
