Reporting to the People Services Manager on a 12 month parental leave cover, you will play a significant part within the People & Culture (P&C) team. This role provides comprehensive information to the organisation and colleagues including but not limited to People & Culture policy responses, handling P&C transactions and records within our Human Resources Information System (SuccessFactors) whilst ensuring 100% data accuracy and compliance, managing Talent Acquisition processes, and system updates and changes.
Your day in the life at Optus Respond expertly, accurately and promptly to enquiries raised by leaders and colleagues via ServiceNow (HR Assist) online ticketing system.Accurately analyse and interpret policies and procedures to respond to enquiries, demonstrating curiosity as well as a high commitment to service in seeking clarity and understanding.Generate documentation and colleague letters when required.Liaise with internal Centres of Excellences including Talent Acquisition, Reward & Recognition, Senior Advisory, People and Culture Business Partners, Directors and Associate Directors as required to appropriately respond to or redirect enquiries.Actively provide input into system or protocol/process improvements, including updating and redesigning documentation, reporting etc.Recommend and implement improvements in People & Culture administration processes.Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
About you We would love to hear about your high customer service orientation, your ability to problem solve and drive enquiries to resolution, as well as your ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong attention to detail and a keen eye for data accuracy and interpretation. A tertiary qualification in People and Culture or a similar Business field is desirable.
Experience in a similar role is crucial to your success as you will support People and Culture initiatives and projects to continue to develop your capabilities, including administrative support for change programs and other works, as well as supporting the broader People and Culture team. Experience within a similar People and Culture operations role, working within a ticketing system across high volumes of diverse complexities would be helpful.
