The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our Adelaide based Civil / Structural Team are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to take on the day-to-day leadership of the Civil team, and an experienced Structural Engineer to take on a senior project leadership role within the Structural team.
Commencing in January 2025, these roles provide a great opportunity to work within a close-knit, high-quality team on unique, multi-disciplinary and cross-sector projects whilst taking the next step in your career.
Responsibilities include:
Daily supervision of the civil team (Senior Civil Engineer only) Coaching and development of less experienced team members Preparation of engineering calculations, drawings, design documentation and technical specifications Establishing, maintaining and fostering quality relationships with clients to ensure their requirements/expectations are met Liaising with authorities to produce quality documents that comply with statutory authority requirements Promoting TMK's services to existing and prospective clients Reviewing and implementing improvements to department technical standards as required Quoting and management of projects About you
The successful candidates will have leadership capability, excellent communication skills, be client-focused and be passionate about developing their people.
They will be highly organised and capable of resolving technical issues efficiently.
Skills and experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Civil / Structural - recognised by Engineers Australia Minimum 5 years' experience with Civil design / Structural, and documentation Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or 12D High attention to detail Client focused Knowledge of Australian standards, council design standards Passionate about continuous learning and development Excellent communication skills, able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly Creative problem-solving skills to continually find ways to overcome challenges and obstacles TMK offers:
