Permanent Full Time38 Hours per weekNorth Sydney Location, Prestigious Private SchoolAbout the roleAs a Greenkeeper, you will be key in maintaining and enhancing turf areas ensuring they remain lush, healthy, and resilient.
Reporting to the Site Manager, this hands-on role involves maintaining and enhancing turf areas, implementing sustainable practices, and delivering exceptional results.

ResponsibilitiesPerform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques.Operate and maintain specialised turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and deliver exceptional results.Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.BenefitsReceive Above Award rates for your expertise.Access prerequisite training to excel in your role.Enjoy a supplied uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE).Engage in social events fostering team camaraderie.Thrive in a supportive management team and fantastic team culture.About YouCertificate III in Sports Turf ManagementCricket Wicket experience (desirable)Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field preferred.Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.Ongoing safety training programs and resources available.Our Team & CultureDiscover Green by Nature, our purpose is to enhance lives by constructing, nurturing, and maintaining exceptional green spaces.
