Our Team & Opportunity
As part of our Financial Adviser Services (FAS) team, FAS is dedicated to supporting our clients' investment decision-making process and connecting them to Vanguard's broad suite of investment products, tools, and services.
We do this through our experienced team which sits across Regional Sales Executives, Sales Specialists, Adviser Offer, and Sales Enablement.
As the Sales Executive, you will identify, build, and develop new business opportunities for Vanguard, as well as assist in the ongoing retention of key accounts.
You will continue to develop sales skills and product knowledge while covering smaller or less complex prospects and/or accounts independently.
Additionally, you will assist more senior sales executives and managers with larger and complex prospects and/or accounts.
What you will do
Drive your own pipeline and panel management, identify new opportunities, and establish relationships with new Vanguard clients.
Responsible for driving increased net cash flow across the panel.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e., Client Offer, Marketing, Product) to drive collaborative solutions that deliver on client requirements.
Work closely with the Adviser community to promote Vanguard's portfolio construction philosophy, investment beliefs, and products.
Collaborate on relevant sales opportunities to leverage insights and successes.
Implement sales philosophy, methodology, and behaviors framework to know our clients deeply and increase our channel efficiency and effectiveness.
Leverage data to make better decisions, identify opportunities, and effectively manage your book of business.
What we are looking for
Demonstrated experience within sales & business development in the investment management space.
A natural flair for building relationships, providing effective guidance & influence to attain the best outcomes for our customers and advisers.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and leverage expertise to deliver results for clients.
Embraces change and contributes to a positive team culture.
Specialisations that will make an impact
Demonstrated experience advising clients on complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Highly driven, results-oriented self-starter.
Tertiary qualified in a related field.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications (i.e., CIMA, CA, CFA, MBA) would be highly regarded.
Successful completion of the RG146 certification.
