Job Description Our teams work with leaders in the public sector to solve problems, build consensus and implement policies and programs that impact millions of people.
Joining alongside our colleagues in Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific, we are actively looking for analytical problem solvers to support us as we grow our work across APAC.
As an Associate, you will work alongside colleagues as part of a small team engaging government leaders, partners and specialist experts to support better delivery of public services for the good of people.
Your primary role will be to support on-the-ground delivery of project priorities.
Our partnerships with clients in the region focus on impact for beneficiaries and refining implementation along the way, accounting for learnings in the local context.
Key Responsibilities : Support clients to solve problems and deliver impact at scale.Use data to formulate and test recommendations as a means of improving senior level decision-making.Participate in problem-solving and collaboration through action-oriented routines, workshops, and project activities throughout the project life cycle.Engage frontline services providers and end users to inform policy and program implementation.Skill Sets : Build relationships: Cultivate trust and influence among diverse stakeholders.Facilitate collaboratives: Run effective meetings and workshops that drive forward problem solving and consensus.Analyze data: Turn raw data into actionable insights and recommendations, whether through Microsoft Excel or other analytical tools.Solve problems: Break down issues to identify root causes and develop solutions.Communicate insights: Transform complex challenges and resolutions into clear, concise memos and well-structured presentations.Manage fast-moving project tasks: Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient project execution, bringing clear structure and planning to day-to-day work.Track impact: Monitor and evaluate programs and projects through clear, thoughtful analysis and data-driven assessments.Stay focused: Navigate complexity, especially in policy and program implementation, consistently steering coalitions back to a single-minded focus on priority outcomes.Mindsets : Analytical: Skilled in dissecting and solving complex problems.Driven: Committed to delivering high-impact work.Curious: Eager to learn from clients, colleagues, and partners.Collaborative: Team players who value diverse perspectives.Resilient: Stay on track and persevere through challenges.Required Skills / Experiences : Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (public policy, government administration, economics, public health, etc.).
Requisite years of professional experience and/or apprenticeship pathways will also be considered in lieu of formal education.Professional experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant, full-time work experience in government, consulting, policy, project management and/or impact measurement.Technical proficiency: Familiarity working in the standard business suite (analyzing data in spreadsheets, creating presentations, etc.
