About the Location
Relax on the coast of South Gippsland at Ingenia Holidays Cape Paterson
Located only 90 minutes' drive from Melbourne, this park flanked by six local beaches, pristine waters, a rock pool and Bass Coast vistas offers modern two or three bedroom villas or over 100 powered sites for those who prefer camping or caravanning.
About the Role
We are looking for a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to attend to repairs and maintenance issues and maintain the appearance of the site.
Working unsupervised, you will be highly motivated and capable of providing a high level of customer service.
This position is casual, with the potential for additional hours to be picked up during peak periods.
Responsibilities
Administer all repairs and or maintenance to tools, equipment and machinery Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities; including fixing toilets and unhinged doors Ensuring the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times Garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing are to be completed in a timely manner and of a high quality condition Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables and gardening equipment Stripping of beds & removal of all linen from Villas as well as cleaning and maintaining exterior of Villa windows, decking, pathways etc.
Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, and garden restoration About You
Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position Driver's Licence Ability to work with limited supervision Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster If you wish to join a successful team in a growing company, please click on the Apply for this job button and submit your resume.
