NRMA Ocean Beach sets the scene for an unforgettable guest experience, with a range of accommodation options, daily kids club, resort-style pools, and a waterparkThe roleThis is an exciting newly created position.
The successful candidate will work closely alongside the Operations Manager and the Group Food and Beverage Manager to represent the core values of the NRMA in terms of professionalism, cleanliness, and guest experience.
The Cafe Manager will also work closely with the department heads and the Events and Groups Team to create industry-leading outlets and functions while working within monthly financial budgets.Key responsibilities:Recruit, train, develop, and mentor F&B Team MembersControl and positively influence 'Cost of Sales'Operate within the department budgetCollaborate with Resort Manager & Group Food & Beverage Manager to create strategic plans to develop the departmentDesign food and beverage menus in collaboration with Group Food & Beverage Manager, Chef/Lead Short Order Cook, and Operations Manager.Maintain and develop positive relationships with suppliersComply with Liquor Licensing, Food Safety Plan, and OHS requirementsUltimately, and above all, create and maintain a positive, dynamic working culture that creates moments of unforgettable quality.About youExperience in a Cafe and/or previous customer service experienceOutstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgroundsExperience in a management/leadership roleRelevant tertiary qualifications in Tourism/Hospitality Management or equivalent are an advantage (desirable)Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (desirable)The PerksGreat team cultureAccommodation discounts to all Park locations across AustraliaFor further information about NRMA Holiday Parks and Resorts, you can visit our website www.nrmaparks.com.auPlease Note: All successful candidates at NRMA Parks and Resorts will be subject to a mandatory pre-employment screening process.We are proudly diverse and are committed to fostering an inclusive culture where all people are valued, respected, and able to contribute their talents to drive organizational performance.
