Accounts Payable Officer

Your New Company/Role:
As one of the established industry leaders, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts payable Officer to join their growing team, based in South-West of Sydney. This is a 3 months temporary and high chances of becoming permanent. The successful candidate must have exposure in bulk processing invoices.
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting into a supportive and nurturing Accountant:
Your duties include:
Ability to perform bulk invoice processing
Reconciliations of vendor statements and investigate discrepancies/outstanding accruals
Processing of stock and non-stock invoices
Ensure invoices are authorized and matched with purchase orders
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice-related issues
Performing reconciliations
Journal uploads
Maintain stock accruals accounts
Performing allocations to the right cost centre
Ability to work on multiple GL codes
Assist with month end procedures and reporting
Assist with Fixed assets administration
Any other reasonable duties that may be required
Ideal Profile
This opportunity is for someone who has experience within end-to-end Accounts Receivable/Credit Controller duties with an Accounting background. You will also bring:
Diploma/Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or work experience equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Previous experience in bulk invoice processing and dealing with multiple GL codes for multiple entities
Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
Experience with large ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly preferred
Benefits
$36 - $43 + Super (based on experience) [competitive salary once gone permanent]
