BrokerEngine is an innovative FinTech in the mortgage broking space that was acquired by Australian Finance Group Ltd (ASX: AFG) in 2021. Our software helps mortgage broking teams automate their operations and provide a 5-star customer experience at scale.AFG is one of Australia's largest mortgage broking groups, employing over 300 staff across Australia. As a category leader, AFG has in excess of 4,000 mortgage brokers in its network with access to over 10,000 financial products from more than 80 of Australia's leading lenders.Through our broker network, AFG processes around one in ten of all Australian residential mortgages and manages over $210 billion in residential and commercial finance. In addition to our broker network, AFG has a rapidly growing home loan business, asset finance business, and an expanding footprint in the provision of business lending solutions.The Role:This role is responsible for driving the sales and distribution of our SaaS product, BrokerEngine. A new role in the business, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence through innovative sales strategies.You will be in the position to spearhead the growth of BrokerEngine, transforming how brokers operate; to deliver exceptional service; and develop and execute forward-thinking sales strategies that optimise the sales funnel and uncover new business opportunities.Being customer-centric is a key company value and central to our value proposition, and we'll be looking for someone with the same mindset to build and nurture strong customer relationships and exceed their expectations.Key Responsibilities Include:Sales Trailblazer: Uncover and cultivate new sales opportunities. Conduct market research to identify potential accounts, nurture relationships, and close deals that drive our success.Demo Maestro: Conduct SaaS-style demos that highlight the unique value of our offerings and leave prospects eager for more.Pipeline Architect: Collaborate with our internal sales teams to construct a robust pipeline of customers ready to transition to BrokerEngine.Team Mentorship: Lead and inspire the sales force, fostering a collaborative environment that aligns sales, marketing, and product development efforts.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the AFG Group to ensure cohesive strategies and seamless execution.Market Expansion: Play a crucial role in expanding BrokerEngine's footprint in the market.Knowledge Explorer: Stay ahead of the curve by continuously updating your job knowledge and seizing educational opportunities.Pricing Strategist: Provide precise and compelling pricing strategies to ensure proposals are competitive and profitable.Follow-Up Champion: Diligently follow up with prospects to turn potential into reality, closing deals and driving our success.Who We Are Looking For:As a dynamic sales professional, you will have a proven track record of growing businesses, ideally in the Fintech space. You will also have the ability to manage and leverage information in a CRM to drive efficiencies and sales in a sustainable way - preferably within the mortgage broking industry.
