About the role We are on the lookout for a super organised and dedicated Collections Officer to join our Kemps Petersons Receivables team in Melbourne.
This role is a part-time permanent position.
We are open to someone working 3 days per week or 22.5hrs across 4 or 5 days per week.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for collecting debt referred by our clients whilst complying with the Australian Debt Collection guidelines.
Objectives Analyse client accounts to negotiate payment of outstanding debt.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Negotiate and monitor payment plans.Report statuses to clients on progress matters.Carry out internal or external investigations to locate debtors as required.Manage missed debtor payments and issues related notices.Maintain accurate account records ensuring all customer information is up to date.About you Ideally you will have 2-3 years' experience in a similar all-rounder role in debt collection or AR, but if not, the right attitude and willingness to learn and grow will set you apart from the restYou're known for outstanding client service and communication skills (written & verbal).You can professionally and sensitively deal with clients and third parties.You have an eye for detail and exceptional time management skills.If you want to be the "glue" for our tribe and are genuinely a nice person who is always willing to pitch in when the chips are down, then we will consider youWe are a hardworking team, who pride ourselves on being loyal, supportive and we always work with the highest integrity.What we can offer you Flexibility – Hybrid work schedules working from home five days each fortnight.A Day Off – On your birthday because you deserve itBenefits – Paid parental leave, discounted health insurance, hospital excess coverage, discounted fitness memberships, and study leave, to name a few.About Us If you haven't heard of PICA Group, check us out: , I think you'll be impressed.
