The Debating & Public Speaking Coordinator at Canberra Girls Grammar School will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Junior and Senior Debating programs, working closely with debating coaches and relevant providers.

The position: The Debating & Public Speaking Coordinator will also lead the creation of a public speaking program, guiding and mentoring students to participate in competitions, events, and other public speaking activities.
Responsibilities include planning, organising, and supervising programs such as the ACT Debating (ACTD) Competition, the IGSA, IPSHA Debating Program, Festival of Speech, social debating events, Interhouse debating, Mock Trial, WIDPSC, and Model United Nations activities.
Minimum Requirements: Always demonstrate and ensure compliance with the School's Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct.Promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.Ensure positive and safe interactions with children and young people.Provide adequate care and supervision of children and young people.Act as a positive role model.Must hold or have the ability to obtain a current Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP).How to apply: Your application package should include the following information:
