About the Role
We invite applications for this key role as an Events and Facilities Coordinator to support our experienced Events and Facilities team.
This is a critical and 'hands on role', primarily based at our Ridgeway Campus, Ivanhoe, however at times you may also be required to provide assistance to our other campuses located in Macleod and Doreen.
This position is full time, ongoing and will commence in January 2025.
The successful applicant will have strong customer service and organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and willingness to respond positively to any day-to-day tasks that arise.
Your Everyday
Working closely with the Calendar, Events & Community Engagement Manager, the successful candidate will: Coordinate the Casual Facilities Support AssistantsCollaborate with key stakeholders and contractors to set up and pack down events, examinations, concerts, dinners and special eventsCoordinate the management of event and staff, including kitchen stock, movement of furniture, musical instruments and catering suppliesCollaborate with other departments to ensure events and facilities are aligned with the school's overall goals and objectivesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and codes, including conducting safety inspections, implementing safety protocols, and providing safety training to staff.About You Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve team goals and meet deadlinesDemonstrated level of organisation skills to work flexibly and to manage conflicting and changing prioritiesOutstanding interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to build communityHighly developed verbal and written communication skillsStrong capacity to consult, collaborate and interact with staff, students and parents / guardians.A Career with Us Fantastic opportunity to work in a highly regarded independent schoolWork alongside professionals who are not just experts in their fields but also genuinely care about our students and each otherYour wellbeing matters to us
