About the Role: We are seeking a Senior National Business Development Manager to spearhead strategic initiatives that expand XFM's footprint in the domestic transport industry.
Based at our Altona facility, this role calls for a results-oriented professional who can identify new strategic business opportunities, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and contribute significantly to XFM's national growth.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute national business development strategies to accelerate business growth.Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers, stakeholders, and partners.Craft compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.Conduct market research to pinpoint trends, assess competitive positioning, and uncover expansion opportunities.Collaborate with our operations teams to ensure our business development aligns with organisational goals.Track, analyse, and report on business development activities, sales performance, and customer feedback.Maintain up-to-date CRM records in accordance with company standards.Provide leadership and mentorship to members within the commercial team.Key Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, transport, or a related field ideal but not essential.At least 7 years of experience in business development, preferably in transport, logistics, or supply chain.In-depth understanding of the Australian express transport industry.Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.Proven leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and guiding teams.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.Valid motor vehicle license and willingness to travel nationally as needed.Why Join XFM?
