Finance Manager | Global Brand | National Remit | Strong Team Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127, Australia Req #362 Thursday, 5 September 2024 Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA)is a market leader in the OTR (Off the Road) Tyre industry and is renowned for its global reputation for quality products, continuous improvement & cutting-edge application of technology.
Our mission: Serving Society with Superior Quality Otraco (a subsidiary of BMSA) is a world leading provider of Earthmover and Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry.
We are currently seeking an effective Finance Manager to work across both businesses out of ournew state of the art BMSA Head Office in Sydney Olympic Park NSW.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will guide three direct reports across a team of approximately seven.
Your teams will cover Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable and Credit Control.

Achieve and maintain the highest Corporate Governance standards as it relates to BMSA & Otraco's Statutory obligations (Financial Reports, BAS, GST, FBT, Income Tax reporting, Audits, Group Consolidation) Coordinate and supervise the bi-annual stocktake and fixed asset audit Supervise, review and approve monthly and year-end reconciliations and schedules including General Ledger balance sheet reconciliations Providea true and accuratefinancial positionfor inclusion in the monthly management reports About You - Essential Relevantaccountingqualifications,CPA,orCAlevel or equivalent overseas certification Five year's industry experience as a Sr Financial Accountant looking for a step-up or three years as a Finance Manager High level expertise with ERP accountingsoftware Advanced knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS Proven ability to develop a team with a strong customer service culture Experience in maintaining the highest standards in Corporate Governance and Industry Standard Protocols Demonstrated history managing all corporate and consolidated reporting requirements in a timely and efficient manner An effective collaborator/influencer across all levels of the business Team management experience and proven results in staff empowerment Acceptance of infrequent interstate travel Current work rights in Australia About You – Preferred Experience working within a global organisation Exposure to mining, heavy industry or related industries Join a global leader to progress your professional career
