Launch Operations ManagerOur Client is looking for a Launch Operations Manager to help scale the business to become the world's premier multi-user commercial Space Launch company.
Their mission is to be the pre-eminent commercial Space Launch company providing world-class Launch Services supporting testing, launch and recovery of vehicles and payloads flown to and from all space orbits.

They must respect all peoples and their identity.Excellence - They aim for excellence and strive to be the best at everything they do.Customer - They are passionate about their performance, serving clients as best they can and delivering on their promises.Financial Success - By focusing on operational excellence, safety, efficiency, and reliability they will achieve financial success and deliver value for both their shareholders and customers alike.ResponsibilitiesThe Launch Operation Manager (LOM) is responsible for the preparation and operational readiness of the Launch Control Centre (LCC), the interface with either the clients Mission Control Centre (MCC) or the joint user MCC.
The LOM is also responsible for the operations prior to and on the day of launch for the payload preparation and integrity checks, launch vehicle preparation and delivery in a launch-ready state to the launch pad, and the integration and readiness of the launch pad and its associated systems.
This role works very closely with the Customer and Site Liaison Officer and the Customer's launch operation manager.
Qualifications and Experience8+ years' experience delivering in a similar role.Relevant qualifications relating to Range Operations, Safety, Emergency Response, Training & Assessing, and Incident Investigation.Desirable to have experience with explosive handling and storage.An absolute commitment to safety.Demonstrated ability to influence a team to achieve positive business outcomes.Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions under pressure, balancing competing priorities and demands.Ability to develop working knowledge of the commercial Customer's ground handling, dangerous goods, security, emergency response policies, and procedures.You don't know the phrase "that's not my job" and are a real "can do" person.
You're fun and casual but very good at what you do.You will be hardworking and a team player, looking to become part of a vibrant and supportive team.
