Demand for our products and services means we currently have an opening for a Customer Relations Manager based out of our Melbourne branch travelling and working with customers throughout Western Victoria and Southern NSW.
If you like the thought of working within our Customer Service Team and have experience in the hydraulics industry, then this is the position for you
The position includes all the tools of the trade; fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, phone and internet access.

The role involves: Working alongside the National Sales ManagerAnswering inbound telephone sales/technical callsDeveloping, managing and maintaining solid relationships with customers and key accountsUsing strategic planning to develop and document a thorough understanding of Taipan customers' needs and requirements offering customised solutionsProactive contact with customers as determined by their needsMaintaining regular contact to provide effective and interactive customer relationship managementBe the main point of contact between specific key accounts and other internal team membersActioning, engaging and securing new customer enquiriesPerforming onsite visits on a constant basisActioning customer requirements in a timely mannerEnsuring customer records are up to date in company databasesPerforming Annual Customer ReviewsAttending and participating in scheduled meetings and training as requiredSupporting and participating in Marketing campaignsTranslating and data entry of sales quotes and ordersUsing a collaborative and open approach to resolving customer issues/complaintsAchieving agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the National Sales Manager and Managing DirectorProviding monthly reports on customer base and KPIs to National Sales Manager and Managing DirectorLiaise with all customers including within the branchTo be successful you'll need some or all of the following: Hose and fittings product knowledge desirableKnowledge of hydraulic industry applications desirableCustomer service skills and salesmanshipInformation and communication technology (ICT) literateInterested?
