With underground mining well underway and the processing plant refurbishment activities almost complete at Paulsens, our Projects Team is working on the next part of our five-year vision to become a multi-operation gold producer.

If this sounds like something you want to be involved in, we are now looking for an Environmental Approvals Officer to join the Projects Team.
The role is permanent, based in our Perth Office on a Monday – Friday roster, with occasional site travel.
We believe in balancing life and work and are happy to support flexible working arrangements.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Development Manager, you will assist with environmental approvals being managed in a timely and responsible manner.
Key accountabilities are:
Identify and advise on regulatory environmental approval requirements to ensure company compliance to regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and ensure baseline environment studies are completed to support approval applications.
Maintain and monitor the Environment Legal Compliance database.
Prepare environment approval applications and relevant operating licences.
Assist with negotiation and communication with regulatory bodies during the approvals process.
Assist Heritage and Land Access Specialist with baseline studies and information required for heritage and land access work.
Assist with community consultation commitments for current and anticipated activities.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering, Science or equivalent.
Experience working in an approvals and compliance capacity with knowledge of state and federal environmental legislation applicable to the mining and exploration industry in WA.
Understanding of mining processes and subsequent environmental impacts.
Experience with compiling and submitting environmental approvals within the mining environment.
Overall, we are seeking a positive and motivated 'can do' individual with adaptive thinking, who enjoys autonomy in their role with an ability to prioritise, work on and persevere with multiple projects concurrently.
