As our sales consultant, you will be the face of our company, responsible for guiding prospective customers through the granny flat or home buying process. You will service and manage all new enquiries received and convert leads into new sales. You are expected to promote the business's high expectations on quality and build trust through effective communication. The Sales Consultant must be able to communicate effectively with potential clients and possess an overall knowledge of the sales and building process to meet clients' desired needs. The Sales Consultant must have demonstrated experience in quoting, completing onsite inspections, and selling granny flats, new homes, duplexes, and small dual occupancy developments.A competitive remuneration package is available, including endless performance-based commissions.Roles and Responsibilities:Provide P J Cook Building with exclusive sales service and achieve set monthly sale targets.Ensure timely responses to all incoming leads and appointments through our enquiry inbox.Provide clients with information on base pricing and handle negotiations.Develop an immediate understanding of our standard inclusions, the way we build, and how these compare to competitors.Complete preliminary site assessments using CAN I BUILD – site assessment software.Complete onsite inspections to meet clients and gain understanding of site, client desired requirements, and any possible site restrictions.Work closely with clients to understand needs and be able to offer valuable solutions.Prepare sale estimates using quote templates, price book, and our site assessment software.Meet with clients to deliver, discuss sale quotes, and sign clients up to our preliminary agreement using DocuSign.Generate and follow up leads, drive sales and traffic through completed projects.Arrange, promote, and conduct private opens every Saturday.Develop and maintain a network of industry partners such as land developers, agents, financiers, and local community providers.Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, sale volumes, pricing, and product offers.Know our market-leading range of standard designs and inclusions.Liaise with the Head Estimator and extended office team to ensure delivery of a high standard of service to our clients.Attend design and sales meetings on a weekly basis at our office.Prepare early-stage proposals, conduct in-person presentations, and achieve sales targets.Provide information on the best-suited floor plan options, inclusions, and information about the business at initial site inspections.Spend time with clients to understand needs and promote how we build, inclusions, and PJC differences.Saturday is normally the busiest day for sales consultants on the road meeting with prospective clients, showing potential clients through projects, and completing sign-ups; therefore, working Saturdays is a must.Qualifications & Experience:Excellent team and customer service skills.Experience in sales of residential new homes and granny flats is essential.Must be experienced and remain up to date with council DCP requirements and regulations for granny flats, new homes, duplexes, and small dual occupancy developments.Ability to prioritize and understand workflow processes.Computer literate with great verbal and written communication skills.Drive and commitment to grow both your own personal career as well as the overall business.Full understanding of the sales process with the ability to generate leads and turn these into sales.Must have a current driver's license, own vehicle, and mobile phone.Should you believe you have the drive to meet the challenges of this position and can demonstrate how you meet the skills and attributes, please submit your resume and cover letter.
