With a strong focus on building long-lasting relationships with our clients, we are a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to delivering high quality and sustainable solutions across various industries.Due to recent growth, we have a fantastic opportunity available for a driven Senior Project Engineer (SPE) to join our leadership team, supporting current and future projects in the southeast, commencing with the Hope Island Station and Coomera Connector.Reporting to the Project Manager, the SPE will be responsible for:Providing engineering and project management support onsite to supervisory and project staff to deliver successful execution of multiple projectsDeveloping cost effective engineering solutions; working collaboratively with the Hawthorne Civil team and clientsManaging and monitoring progress and performance against safety, time, cost, and quality targets to achieve successful outcomesMonthly forecasting of time and cost outcomes at project completionProcurement of key subcontractors and suppliers, along with plant, equipment, and material across multiple projectsUndertaking inspections of temporary works and pre-pour inspectionsPreparing monthly financial and progress reportsTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, RPEQ a bonusMinimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry - TMR and RMS structures highly desirableDemonstrable experience in project engineering, including the development of program of works, cost tracking and forecastingStrong knowledge of HSE requirements and implementationExcellent client relationship managementA straight shooter with excellent problem solving capabilityThis is a permanent opportunity that offers excellent remuneration, ongoing training and development, a fantastic team culture and an attractive reward and recognition program.If you're ready to take on the next step in your career with a growing business and to make your mark at Hawthorne Civil, we want to hear from you
