Job Description
Lead Strategy and Planning: Drive the design and implementation of the MACSEYE 2030 Strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and measurable outcomes.
Monitor Performance and Drive Improvement: Oversee performance reporting, identify systemic issues, and implement solutions to foster a high-performing, sustainable organisation.
Policy and Advocacy Leadership: Analyse policy trends, prepare strategic submissions, and lead advocacy efforts to position MACSEYE as a sector leader.
Provide Inspirational Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, foster a culture of learning and improvement, and drive organisational change through effective communication and collaboration.
Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration, innovation, and MACSEYE's reputation in the sector.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree (MBA or postgraduate qualifications highly regarded) with substantial experience in managing complex, regulated, and geographically diverse services, preferably in early childhood education or social services sectors.
Strategic Leadership: Proven success in developing and implementing strategies to improve service quality, financial performance, and team engagement in value-based organisations.
Analytical and Business Acumen: Strong analytical skills with extensive experience in business development and driving performance improvements.
Influence and Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, including Boards, Government, and service teams.
Personal Attributes: High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, decisiveness, and a "can-do" attitude, coupled with the ability to foster high-performance teams and model integrity and inclusion.
