Job Title: Distribution & Channel Sales Manager – Residential and C&I Solutions Location: Sydney, NSW

Founded in April 2015 and based in Brisbane, Redback Technologies is supported by the Microsoft Innovation Centre and has established alliances with leading edge partners.
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Distribution & Channel Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales through our distribution network in both residential and C&I sectors.
As a key member of the sales team, this role will also have a focus on building strategic partnerships and channels, ensuring the effective sale of our products.
The position will also play a pivotal role in introducing and selling C&I solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our distribution channel of installer and distributor for all Redback products.Identify, onboard, and manage new distribution partners, fostering strong relationships to drive sales and achieve Redback's objectives.Oversee the sales pipeline, track performance, and meet or exceed sales targets.Distribution and Partnership: Build and develop long-term partnerships with key distribution and channel partners.Work closely with distribution partners to ensure the availability and promotion of Redback's products within their network.Provide regular sales training and product knowledge support to ensure partners can effectively market and sell the products.Monitor and evaluate existing distribution channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.Capable to lead the introduction of C&I products into existing distribution channels, ensuring successful adaptation and adoption by partners.Acquire new customers while strengthening relationships with existing ones.Establish and agree upon annual sales targets with distribution partners, monitor performance on a monthly and quarterly basis, negotiate pricing and contract terms, manage credit terms, and ensure timely receipt of payments from distribution partners.Increase revenue for the company in alignment with established KPIs.Market and Product Development: Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.Support marketing activities and communication.
Monitor competitor pricing, strategies, and activities.
Provide periodic reports to and engage with internal stakeholders.Provide feedback to product development teams on the requirements and expectations of distribution partners and customers.Cross functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to design promotional materials and sales campaigns for distribution partners.Collaborate with the Customer Service and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing, invoicing, and resolution of any discrepancies to maintain seamless operations and customer satisfaction.Sales Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.Use sales data to assess the effectiveness of distribution channels and partnership initiatives.Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience (5+ years) in sales and distribution in the residential and commercial renewable energy sector specifically with respect to inverter and ESS.In-depth understanding of the Australian local PV and ESS markets.Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective partnerships and distribution networks.A proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets in previous roles.Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.Self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently and diligently.Willingness and ability to travel on a regular basis domestically on short notice.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in launching new products into existing distribution channels.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards for renewable energy products.Experience working in global companies, with an international mindset.Experience in the C&I Energy Storage Sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
